Updating

The Harmony League: I promised you all that I would finish up the new Chapter One by adding on a bit that would neatly tie it into Chapter Two. Well, it's been a couple weeks now and so far the only thing I have to show for it is an updated soundtrack. It's not An Ideal of Hope like Badninja was hoping for, but I think it works.

Remember when I was having issues with Chapter Six way back when? About how everything I tried didn't work one way or another, or I simply wasn't satisfied with it? Yeah. That's what's happening here. I've gone through three different versions of this stupid thing, and I've either ran them so far that they could double as a chapter all on their own, or I veer a bit too far off script and try and push too much into such a small space. Good news? I've got a few ideas for Celestia's history to look at later. Bad News? I'm still wrestling with it.

I promise, I'm working on it, it's just a lot is happening right now. Nothing bad. Just... busy. It's like this house just suddenly exploded into action and only recently slowed down. At least I hope we're slowing down. Not sure if I can stomach another day of being a jungle gym for the little ones.

Tartarus Forged: I could give you all a story about how slow work on this has been, or about how much I've got done, and I'm just finishing it up with edits, but those would be lies. Blunt honesty: I have done nothing for the next chapter yet. I have an idea or two floating in my head, but I have yet to transfer it through my keyboard into Microsoft Word. It's kinda just been hanging there at the back of my head. Not forgotten, just... shoved to the side.

Look, I'll be honest with you guys. When I first started posting The Harmony League, I had these ideas of punctuality and rigid update schedules. I knew I wouldn't be great, but I figured I could at least nail "Consistent" for a title. Hate to say it, but I'm beginning to realize I'm one of those guys who gets work done on his own time, rather than some kind of schedule. However, even if updates are few and far in between, I'll be damned before they become low quality updates.

I can understand how you can be having difficulty with this. After all, real world concerns and unpredictable inspiration can be downright rough. I don't mind you not getting the stuff done quickly as long as I know the quality will be better when the work is finally done.

I will help cover your retreat there buddy, those mobs will not get past me! I would advise you to go with the whole extra chapter. It will add to the story it sounds and then it give you the linking that you want. Always remember that I am ready to help you if you want any!
