Fallout 4 Completed · 3:09pm Aug 22nd, 2016

One month ago I bought Fallout 4, at this point I have basically been absorbed by the Fallout Equestria fan base. My character Clair Rain had become both the General of the Minutemen, now a sentinel of the Brotherhood of Steel, and had destroyed the railroad in the process. Now I have literally just destroyed the insititute and gave father the death he deserved (I found him being Shaun bullcrap) at the power of my trusty power fist. In other words, I have officially completed Fallout 4 and am ready to give my thoughts and overall... It was the best gaming experience I've had since I finished Twilight Princess two years ago.

No, I'm not kidding, I found this game more enjoyable then any game I have played in the past two years, and that includes Mass Effect 2 and Xenoblade Chronicles. The world was so welcoming and really did feel close to my heart. As someone who has been to Boston I can tell you that I love the city and love the Red Soxs so seeing Diamond City was an awe inspiring moment. The four different paths the game can take all seemed like fun, and I admit that for some time I originally wanted to go with the Minutemen route before deciding on the Brotherhood of Steel. That being said, by the point in the game you visit the institution I already hated them enough to go ahead and call them instant enemies.

The companions were also really nice, I can't really say which one was my absolute favorite because I loved them all. Well, all except Strong, he didn't really fit my playstyle. If I was to chose I would have to say it was a cross between Paladin Danse (God bless his soul) and Piper. As for how they stick out, I think it's just the fact that it's so easy to become friends with Danse (all you have to do is constantly exit and enter your power armor) and he is big roll model of a character even if he was a synth in the end. As for Piper I saw her as one of the most surprising characters in the entire game. I knew she was in it but I had no idea she ran the newspaper which in the end honestly fit her character. She was probably the most admirable character I can think of because of how reasonable she is and how she constantly searches for justic.

I could honestly go on and on about how much I love this game, but instead I'll sum it up in one sentence. The radio was amazing, the world was strangely beautiful and lively, the companions where amazing, the story was something new and interesting to me, the customization was awesome, and lastly it had an incredible impact on me. To say that this isn't easily in one of my top ten favorite games now would be a mistake. It easily takes up as my forth favorite game of all time behind Twilight Princess, PMD: Explorers of Sky, and Final Fantasy Tactis Advance 2.

With that, I would be happy to say that I am making good progress on chapter chapter 2 of The Wilderness and chapter 4 of Pony Souls, and that I have started working on Chapter 13 on False Guilt and the Deadly Life section of Equestrian Despair. It may be some time until the next Life of Stardust chapter but overall I am trying to work on it as much as possible. So don't worry, I have no plans to quit and delete any of my stories (I can't stand putting a story as canceled) and I will get the next chapter out whenever possible.

Well, there's always the DLC, Automatron, Fall Harbor, and the upcoming Nuka World!

Hey, if you enjoyed playing Dark Souls, I think you might enjoy another pretty cool game that I happen to love now that it's out. (Funny story about me and this game: My friend recommended I play the Beta while it was out, I downloaded it, instantly loved it, and then the Beta ended the next day. I was so sad and depressed when that happened.) Feel free to check it out here.

4422530 Heard of Nioh, but I currently have other games on my mind. Trying to finish Xenoblade Chronicles before the sequel comes on, as well as the original Fire Emblem.
