It was alright. Not the worst episode of the season by any means, and I'd honestly pile it in with the good ones worth rewatching once in a great while. Sure, it has its own issues and the ending is rushed and a bit unsatisfying to be perfectly honest, but it was cool to see Spike in the limelight again and the Crystal Pony guards were pretty funny. I'm honestly hoping they show back up for some jokes in the future. Thorax was...okay. By that, I mean they did about as much as they could with him considering less than twenty-two minutes to establish his character, but he is lacking somewhat.
Still, all things considered I wouldn't mind watching it again after a while.
However, here's the real point of this little post to those few who care enough to read. You see, seeing Thorax got me thinking of a certain queen who's glossed over far too much, and what she might think of one of her little changelings out and about on their own in the Crystal Empire
What I'm saying here is I wrote another Chrysalis story-in fact, the exact same Chrysalis as the one in the first chapter of a Friendly Letter from Chrysalis.
Technically, the rough draft is finished, and I'm going to wait a few days before coming back to it and editing, so expect something to pop up in the next few days.
It was a good episode.
