So!
Two days ago, I decided to post my first clopfic on this site. It's not a genre of writing I'm unfamiliar with, but I've never actually put it into a publishable story format. I was a little nervous, and that held me back from giving it a try for a little while. Should I post clop? Will anypony like it? Will it have any affect on my other stories?
I have to say, I'm kinda shocked at the response. In two days it turned into my most popular story on this site.
I heard a few things about what people didn't like about it, and I saw their points. But I'm also wondering what people did like about it, other than...yanno, if it was good clop for clopping (I certainly hope it was). The writing? The choice of characters? The subject matter?
Well, my goal has always been just to write things people like and want to read, soooo...thinking I'll write some more of this at some point. Quantum Vault has no plans to end soon, but Pinkamena: The Game is intended to be a finite fic after about a quarter-year. Guess I'll see where it all goes!
Certainly unexpected, but I'm awfully glad for the feedback both positive and negative. Thanks for reading!
