Personal and Story Updates... · 5:44pm Aug 10th, 2016
Well folks... I apologize for taking so long to get the next TLaTU chapter out, but it's for a good reason.
I've got myself a new job! 
After deciding it was time to move on from my current job over the July 4 holiday, I posted my resume and got a lot of interest on it. So I interviewed at a new place three weeks ago, got a verbal offer from them two weeks ago and finally passed the background checks this week, getting my formal offer and official start date with it.
The new place is about a mile from my current one, but with a 10% raise, so definitely a step up. My last day at my current position is Friday, and then I get a couple weeks off before starting at the new place. Time I intend to use to relax and mentally reset, maybe even travel again (another Vegas run, perhaps?). However, the job search and interview process has been consuming me of late, so I haven't had as much mental energy for writing. Not to say I haven't--the new TLaTU chapter currently stands at 8200 words and may be upwards of 12,000 before all is said and done. Be advised, it will be a VERY adult chapter, with multiple scenes told through the context of the trial. 
I think the trial and overall story's due for one, don't you? 
There are still a couple large sections to finish, including the core sequence. No preview this time, because I'd rather everyone get it full force when it posts, most likely next week. Be looking for it!
Complete agony waiting for the clop scene as a pre-reader, but it will be worth it, lads.
Good stuff. Landing a new job with a raise and still in your area, assuming your old one was, is quite a coup.
