Happy Applewood Derby Everypony!:D OR should I say...Happy Applewood Derpy Day:3

Eh?:D See what I did there folks?:D Cause I see what you did here Hasbro;3 I saw the subtle joke in this here episode, I saw what you were doing Hasbro ;3 And all that I can say is...thank you for the Derpy love in this episode <3

Derpy, by far, was the best part of this episode:) But before we get into the Derpy Ditzy Doo-ness, let me give my overall score: 7 hearts out of 10 <3 The biggest and obvious downfall of this episode is its predictable story. However, because this flaw is so obvious and I'm one of those who doesn't let to dwell on the negative,I'm going to list all the positives of this episode because I can;) Ha!

Let's talk about Derpy!:D See, told ya she come back;) First of all, she takes part in the funniest moment of the episode:

It's so funny that it's beautiful!X'D

Second, oh my gosh Derpy has a son?! Or at least, a nephew of some sort?

First, it was Amethyst

Then,it was Dinky

And now, this guy...but on the plus side, I like the name that the fandom is giving him so far: Clumsy Hooves:3 It's so cute:3 But you know what's cuter? Derpy helping out Clumsy throughout this episode with his cart and riding in the race with him <3

Enough about Derpy, let's talk about the second favorite thing about this episode: The song:)

While this song may not rival the songs in "Hearth's Warming Tail" and "Flutter Brutter", I do like and appreciate the cute yet catchy melody:) The lyrics at times not always the catchiest, but the lyrics still go quite nicely with the melody as a whole and compliments the great harmonies in the song as well:) Not to mention that the animation and visuals for this song are great:D

The last thing that I enjoyed about this episode was the little, but fun details added to this typical plot line. What I mean by that is this: instead of having Applejack & Rainbow & Rarity competing for first place in race, they had the three ponies compete just for certain categories. For Rainbow, it was the race obviously. For Applejack, it was the ribbon for most traditional cart. And for Rarity, it was the ribbon for most creative cart.

We also had the CMC go for certain categories we didn't expect:) For Applebloom, she wanted to win the race and be the fastest. For Scootaloo,she wanted to create the most creative cart and make it a fiery chicken phoenix cart:D For Sweetie Belle,she wanted to create the most traditional cart:3 Her cart was the cutest out of all of them:3

You see, this is why Sweetie is my favorite crusader:3 She's a bit of a history geek like me!:D She loves things from an older generation like show tunes and old carts<3 Sweetie I love you!:D
