Updates galore!

Uhh, hi guys! I've been a very busy Ice lately and haven't had much time to blog lately but I'm fixing that now to fill you folks in on what I've been doing and stuff. First off, I'm delighted that you people have been reading my stories. With the re-write of Crystalline coming out there's been a huge increase in 'ohmigosh Ice writes stuff and I wanna read it'. Just yesterday I got two PMs about what order to read my GOOD!Icefics in. Note: If you want to know which order to read things in check the story description, I always put that there. If that doesn't work try a bookshelf titled Iceverse in my library or the timeline on my page and in my AU fangroup forum. All these links are on my page. The release schedule was originally screwed up for some of the chapters since I originally wanted to have that complete before FA came out. Oh well.

I'll be completing the re-write before any more of FA comes out to make this less confusing. This is not a hiatus of any kind. I just don't want the first story of the arc as well as the finale to be running at the same time.

FAVORABLE ALIGNMENT IS OUT! Yes, that's right my long-time readers you may rejoice. The arc finale is up and ready for your upvotes. I tend to type chapters in advance so you need not worry about release schedules because this is going to be BIG. I did upload this rather early in the morning so it didn't quite get the reception I was hoping for...seriously this is an epic quest, where's the party? Anyway, you can find this wonderful OTP horse adventure here if it somehow got lost in your notifications.

If you've been looking at your feed and the front page of the site you'll noticed I released a lot of no-context needed one-shots that are looking for love as well. First up is this one, a little practise piece with Luna's voice. It's somewhat fluffy. The second one is another piece for me getting used to Luna's voice and is a longer and much more dramatic story compared to the former. Link here. Next up is some more horse poetry. If you liked my story Behind Red Eyes, you'll love this. It's about Celestia searching for answers to her grief after Luna is banished and is quite dark. Call it her redemption story after the way she acted in Spare Him His Life and some other flashbacks. It is still a very sad and grim story despite the knowledge that we have that Celestia gets better, but it isn't a full on tragedy like a few other things I've written and contains some of the most obvious signs of BPD in how I write Celestia. If you don't know what BPD is you'll probably find yourself looking at the last story I have to talk about here before I add in all the other updates. BPD is short for Borderline personality disorder, and it doesn't take long to realize I enjoy looking into psychology with some of the things I've written. Celestia is a character whose mind I enjoy writing alongside her sister's and Sombra's and I also enjoy her character as well. However, the more I wrote her the more I suspected her of having a personality disorder based on some of her thoughts and actions. Since I've written her from the time she was a young child it was rather to easy see as she progressed farther into adulthood. A friend of mine and myself were on a skype call and I was discussing this along with the idea I had for a second person story. It led to us being able to successfully conclude that Celestia, in the AU that I write, has BPD. This is used for the story that can be found here. I've never written anything like it before so any feedback possible is appreciated.

My last update for this essay (well, compared to my normal blogs) is that I will do an AMA if I get two hundred followers (and, maybe, ya know, like, a few more upvotes...) as well as a FAQ to put all those asked-too-often questions at rest with helpful links and stuff as well as passive agressive (howeveryouspellit) snark 'n' sass.

As per usual, I will regret nothing.
