A Celebration of 20 Years · 1:49pm Aug 7th, 2016
So technically, last night, August sixth, INTO today is the 20-year anniversary of my heart transplant. I'm up north in the mountains celebrating (of course I'm LEAVING today... ), and it still amazes me that it's been so long. I'm going to be brief, because the breakfast buffet is about to end.
I figured I'd tag Crimson because those of you that read and Faved the story should already know about the transplant, but I mentioned very little. Long story short: my heart transplant was 20 years ago. Wasn't that informative?
There may be another (unrelated) blog coming at the end of the day, but maybe not. Depends on how I feel after the drive.
Nice. 20 is a big number. Congrats!

Thanks guys.
Just got back home. I think I need to do a little reading.
¡Happy Anniversary!
Interestingly enough, a few months ago, I wrote a BlogPost about how to solve the problems of helmetless donorcycleriders running up healthcarecosts and the shortage of organs:
¡A Solution To The Shortage Of Blood & Organs!
Basically, rather than wasting resources on helmetless donorcycleriders with severe headinjuries, consider riding a donorcycle helmetless as an automatic waiver of heroic measures and automatic consent to organ donation. A 20something helmetless donorcyclist who comes in brainless (the brain is still out on the pavement) can save many in need of young healthy organs.
