So, I never did get artistic projects together that used Patreon, and my pony books are too naughty for it.
SOOOO…
I just went and switched my day job over to it
The payment processor I've used for nearly a decade went bust on Sunday. They still owe me more than $700 but I may never see it. I'm in no immediate danger, but Airwindows, my business and livelihood, needed to find another payment processor.
As of about half an hour ago, that's Patreon. Everything new I do in DSP plugins will be free (and support AU, Mac and Windows VST), and Patreon will determine how quickly I port the entire catalog of a decade of work, over to be VST and free for all.

If you've appreciated the eight books of ponyfiction I've written, you can help me out at this big moment of change, by helping the patreon look like a booming, buzzing, going concern. I'll keep on pushing at it every time I release another free plugin, but if I can get a jump on things it will help.
As of the end of September it's going sort of okay, but I can always use more! Tell producer and musician friends Applejinx is being awesome in a new and ingenious way
Actually I understand Patreon have finally found a new payment processor specifically so they can now accept adult works! I'd encourage you to start a second Patreon for your pony books, as I don't know about others but personally I really want to support your writing. Although airwindows is cool too!
4134902 Pony books are done tho I realize I've said that three times, but things are too desperate now for me to risk even thinking about another. And technically it's the same, sort of?
I do applaud Patreon supporting adult works. That's always been a big deal, punishing anyone who wanted to seriously create adult content. Good for them, standing up for those of us telling stories about *ahem* love
Of course if you're done with those stories don't feel pressured to add more! But I love your non-pony fiction as well, and I'm sure you must have a fan base from both your furry and pony fiction which would support you on Patreon, separate from your music audience. Writing is slow and painful though, so I can understand if it's something you need to be more financially secure to have time for!
