A followup to the previous post.

Thanks to everyone who replied here. I've taken what you guys have said under consideration, and have made my decision.

In two days time, I will deleting all chapters of Shin Equus Tensei: Episode One...except the first one, as I believe it to be okay enough.

If you want to save the old chapters, this is the time to do so.

    Thank you.

    An important matter of discussion.

As some of you may no doubt be aware, I have written a story called Shin Equus Tensei: Episode One. I then decided roughly a month ago to put it on hiatus and plan it out a bit more, modifying its settings, characters and locations.

I have the weirdest boner right now

(Note: the kanji roughly translates to Shin Megami Tensei)

    Also:

The Black Frost appeared around the corner and began its slow, tortuous walk towards Twilight. Suddenly, it spoke in a booming voice.

“Twilight Sparkle…Princess Luna never told you what happened to your brother, hee-ho.”

As some of you may no doubt be aware, I have written a story called Shin Equus Tensei: Episode One. I then decided roughly a month ago to put it on hiatus and plan it out a bit more, modifying its settings, characters and locations.

Now that I have learned the magic of 'showing not telling', I have decided to rewrite Episode One. The thing is, this might involve starting the story all over again as the new chapters as much longer, particularly chapter 2 (which I feel should be split into separate chapters). Should I delete the story and publish it again, but should I just edit the chapters and not delete it?

I'd like your feedback on this, readers.

.....er...
I'm not sure how to go about it, actually.
There are obvious pro's and con's.
If you delete it, then repost it, your current followers will see the new story, but not those who simply favourited the story.
If you modify it, it's pretty much the opposite.
If I were to do it... I would delete it.
My reasoning for this is because the story is essentially changing, forming a better one, while being in the same context; and, because it is a new story, it should deserve a new story's status, I.E. no views, no reads, and new readers, old readers, and new comments and opinions.
I love how I just go on and on. How about you? :pinkiehappy:

In either case, I will be glad to re-read it. Ciao for now!

It honestly depends on the amount of changes that are needed. If the plot, characters or atmosphere changes drastically then delete. If you feel the changes you want fit with the current story then modify current story.

Um, I agree with Lancethefox.

I'm going with OmGeeFace over here. If you just edited it, the same readers will be there, and nobody new. If you delete and repost, some old readers will see it, and some new readers will too. Hell, it might even get popular if you change it very well.
