It's comin' along kinda slow, but I've got school and studying and I'm -very- easily distracted ~__~
New characters being introduced in the next chapter, including five brand-new Changeling characters that may have some impact on the storyline. Also, the intro of our new apple thief :3
In the mean-time, I've been busy on deviantart, both buying and requesting art because dammit, this story needs attention.
First, a scene from Raison Detre' chapters Hearstrings And Secrets, which follows Lyra as she looks for something to do after Bon Bon kicks her out so she can study. When Lyra goes to the library, she has an encounter with Emerald Skies that leads to her borrowing a book she shouldn't be reading, a book of long kept secret spells that leads her into a confrontation with Sohl, the human-like creature who uses the same spells in the book.
And here we have Lyra testing out the new fire-breath spell she grabbed from the forbidden book
An encounter with Ampelus has Spark a little annoyed.

DItzy/Derpy met Foggy Nights when he came to Ponyville on a delivery job. He was in town for a few days, and on meeting Ditzy, the two immediately hit it off. He was gorgeous and she was lonely. The two were together as he traveled back and forth from Canterlot to Ponyville, but when he discovered that he'd gotten the mare pregnant, he stopped making trips to Ponyville and abandoned Ditzy to fend for herself.
And finally, the most important piece of work I've gotten yet, Cherry Joy. Cherry Joy is my version of Cheerilee's mother, and Spark Storm's adoptive mother. She adopted him after Cheerilee, at four years old, fell in love with the idea of having the dark pegasus as her brother when he was dropped off at the orphanage where Cherry Joy worked. Finally, after two years of constant nagging, Cherry Joy officially adopted the pegasus, and Cheerilee named him Spark Storm. The three grew together, laughed together, shouted at each other and loved each other. Here she is with Cheerilee's and Spark Storm's cutie marks, because she loves her children almost more than she can handle.

All of that art is either requested or commissioned XD
