Marjoram, Lost Cities, and Beta Readers, Oh My · 5:37am Jul 26th, 2016
As I mentioned in the author's note in the latest chapter of Marjoram, I am writing a side story called Exploring the Lost Cities. It is a series of oneshots (or twoshots depending on how things go) detailing Twilight, Spike, Marjoram, and Kafir's adventures going into some of the places that Cold in Gardez's story Lost Cities details.
I have their permission, and they now have access to a link of the Heartspire piece I'm currently working on. That being said, this piece of work is currently my main focus. That's not to say I'm not working on anything else, I have partial chapters completed for Captured, Luna's Big Feast, and Marjoram, but this first chapter (or two) of the side story is my main focus.
It's a challenge I've set for myself, to strengthen my describing skills. I usually run under the assumption that less is more, and usually that's fine, but I sometimes have a lot of trouble trying to describe things. So, this is going to be a bit difficult for me, while still being fun. I'm over 2500 words into it, at this time, and am still excited about exploring every facet of the place Cold in Gardez introduced me to.
I'm hoping to have the entire thing written out in the next two or three days, have it edited, beta read, and posted by Sunday (the 31st) or next Monday (the 1st). However, I have another problem: I don't have a beta reader.
So, if you're interested in beta reading for me, for any of my stories, really, PM me, or comment here, and let me know. I'll send you the links to everything that you're interested in, and I give credit where credit is due. I'm not that much of an asshole.
If you don't hear from me in the next week, just assume I'm trying to describe things in good detail while still keeping the plot and dialogue running smoothly. Wish me luck.

Hey If you still want a beta reader I would like to help. I love your stories and how you wrirte them because they just captivate me. I would love to beta read for any of your stories since I know I would enjoy reading any of them. Captured is my favorite but majoram and Lunas big feast are a close second.
