BronyCon: Friday Night · 1:17am Jul 22nd, 2016
So, I somehow forgot to post one of the best parts of Friday night and all of BronyCon in yesterday's blog. I'm going to go with the fact that I was super tired at the time. 
On the way to the panel on Friday night, I passed by a person on the stairs in the con center. Without me saying or doing anything to prompt this, she looked at me and said that my costume looked great. I gave a genuine thank you to this, when I saw her face and realized... IT'S ASHLEIGH FREAKIN' BALL!!! 
THE Ashleigh Ball just said my cosplay looked great!
Well, needless to say, I was quite awed and humbled by this. She kept going down the stairs while I kept going up, but I turned and called out to her, "Wait, you're Ashleigh Ball, aren't you?" (Or something to that effect.) She nodded. I then said, "I saw you a few years ago with Hey Ocean!. You were awesome!" She gave a nod and smile at that, and then moved on, as did I.
Now, my very special somepony and I had seen her perform in the band Hey Ocean! a few years ago, and that was one of the main reasons I'd wanted to meet her at this con so badly. I wanted to tell her that I'd enjoyed the concert very much, and my chance to talk with her at said concert got cut short. But passing by her in the convention hall has now made me appreciate her so much more.
Ashleigh, I doubt these words will reach you, but I do want to say thank you again. That moment really touched me, because you could have just walked on by and said absolutely nothing. Instead, you chose to speak out, and so you made this humble bard's night and con. Thank you, so very much.
