Mostly for my own future benefit, but also for the curious, here is the scaling for height, etc., I'm assuming to be canonical for the Advancedverse:
At 7' 1", this makes Cordelia's scalp about level with the tip of Princess Celestia's alicorn. And the logical conclusion, of course, is that she ought to be constantly banging her head on things. Fortunately, this is somewhat ameliorated by two factors:
One, because of the great respect and indeed love they bear for the Princess, most Equestrian construction is done to such a scale that she can enter if she wishes without having to tear out chunks of the wall. (This would obviously be true for public buildings, but certainly we don't see any particularly notable variation in scale between public buildings and private homes and businesses in canon.)
And two, one of the many things they teach you in the Exploratory Service is that you're at the vertically stretched end of the typical range of variation for land-dwelling warm-blooded oxygen-breathers, and should therefore watch out for that --
-- bar. Yeah.
Huh. I didn't actually realize how much bigger Cadance was than Big Mac and Shining Armor. (Then again, cartoon scaling is a little batty in the best of times)
But you know, that's a good point about stuff being built to not cause Celestia too many problems. There's a story floating around here about a human teleported to Equestria, and he runs into problems because he's like 6'6", and I was very mildly confused that Cordelia wasn't running into similar issues - but I didn't even consider that "hey, let's accommodate the princess we all love who's been around for millennia" issue.
I'm getting a broken link on the image, and trying to open it individually is just giving me a 404; is it that one that includes the Space Shuttle, a tank, etc. for scale?
4099477 Not that one; this one is just ponies and a human silhouette.
I dropped it on Pinterest here: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/466896686351828463/ - if that helps any?
4099558 Perfect, thanks! Heh. In my anthro Hyperverse, Celly's 10' 8". Of course, bipedal goddess, so the length of the torso is more important than the diameter.
