Time for my mid-month status update, and also the abbreviated Weekly Death Blog.

Here are the notable deaths for this past week from North America, Japan, and select parts of Europe. As usual, please see Wikipedia for a complete list of notable 2016 deaths.
There were more shootings this week in the wake of last week's violence. A grim reminder that ALL Lives Matter.
Additionally, more than 80 people were killed in the Bastille Day terror attack in Nice on Thursday. It's sad that we live in a world where this sort of tragedy is commonplace.

Mid-Month Status Update
So I haven't been writing much lately because I've been busy with various anime simulcasts and video games and reading fic updates. I've also had a lot of IRL stuff going on this week AND bad sinus problems.
I do have something I plan to get out before the end of the weekend, I mentioned that the other day, we'll see where that goes.
Regarding Persona EG and the lack of updates recently: The plain and simple truth is, I'm badly constipated on Persona EG. I know exactly what the next chapter is going to entail, start to finish--I just can't get more than 50 or 60 words of it down at a time. I'm kind of hoping that on the other side of my allergy doctor appointment on Monday, when I no longer have any life obligations of significance to deal with until early August, I'll get unblocked and maybe actually flush this next chapter out of my metaphorical colon and into the metaphorical toilet bowl of your waiting eyeballs. I don't know why I'm having so much trouble with this one, it's just...gah.
Same deal with sPxHoLEic, except there I'm not even sure what the next chapter is going to entail in full--I've only got the most vague idea there and haven't really devoted enough brain space to it.
Cheer Princess...I've made progress on the next chapter, but again, I'm suffering from metaphorical constipation. About the only thing I can keep moving at a fairly decent clip right now is Comes a Crossover, and that's because that entire story is pure diarrhea to begin with.
Yeah okay I'll stop with the shit metaphors now. Sorry. 
Anyway, that's about where things stand. Keep in mind that my overall writing output is going to be reduced for some time to come because I'm spending more time on other hobbies after letting writing so thoroughly consume my life for so long that I pretty much stopped doing much of anything else altogether. Be respectful of that and keep in mind that fanfiction is a hobby that takes time away from other hobbies. 
I'm very tempted to make a joke in regards to the information given here about Gladys Hooper, but I won't.
Mostly because I feel like it would be in very bad taste.

Everyone needs a break every now and again.
Things aren't calming down. In Turkey there was a putsch attempt. The military tried to seize the Parliament with tanks, but the government repel by calling an air strike. Result at least 90 deaths and around 1200 wounded.
