A boy named Conor O'Malley (Lewis MacDougal) deals with the terminal illness of his mother (Felicity Jones) and the attacks by his bully Harry (James Melville). One night, Conor encounters a monster (Liam Neeson) who is a bunch of leaves and sticks in humanoid shape that tells him stories.

I didn't like this movie when it was called "Where the Wild Things Are," I didn't like this movie when it was called "Bridge to Terabithia," I won't like it when its called "A Monster Calls."

Is anyone else sick of this movie? "Using his imagination a young boy escapes his problems and then learns more about himself then he ever thought-" fuck you. Nightmare Before Christmas, Hotel Transylvania and millions of others can deliver a message without being pretentious saccharin bullshit.
