AU plot synopsis Lineage-verse · 2:34am Jul 14th, 2016
Hey guys, this will be a basic explanation of the changes I made in Mail through the Mirror and I will be using this as the main inspiration for my story. The short version is that each of the main six is a decedent of one or more of the founders and each of them unlocks abilities or finds artifacts relating to those lineages.
The long version is as follows. Dash is descended from Hurricane and Pansy the first to show her power when she does the Sonic Rainboom. she has some of the strongest weather magic ever recorder second only to her ancestor who performed the first Rainboom. Rarity is from the line of princess platinum and only those of her line can wear and use the alicorn amulet without going nuts.
the Apple family are decedents of smart cookie who helped in the creation of the Inspiration Manifestation spell and used it to help push equestrian farming to new heights. The Pie family descends from Puddinghead and Surprise two of the most chaotic ponies to ever live Pinkie inherited so much chaos magic that she has the potential to become a draconequus.
Fluttershy is the last direct decedent of Clover the clever or Queen Clover of the Changelings. Her reason for hiding among the ponies will be explained during the next story. Twilight is the first earth pony to be born in the line of Starswirl she has the ability to absorb magic around her due to an accident that happened with Starswirl and Scorpan which resulted in Sarswirl being able to drain magic. An ability that all his children could use but due to being unicorns they could actively control this power Twilight only passively absorbs small amounts of magic from the ponies and area around herself, she can however when threatened drain an attacker until they run out of magic and pass out. Twilight cannot use active magic nor can she permanently drain magic from a pony she only weakens them temporarily she will never be able to render them powerless.
The story will be told from several perspectives with Twilight's being the most common she will be the Caretaker for the Tree of Harmony and after Season one is officialy dubbed the Lady of the Everfree. Last thing I hope to have the first chapter(s) of the Sage of Harmony (season 1) up sometime this weekend. See you then.
