oh my goodness, first i have to give all my love to AppleJinx for the typewriter in Quills and Sofa's this year. I swear there was never more than a minute or two of silence before someone woild start tapping away on it and 6the works that came out of it were hysterical. Everything from/ Shining references to a page long trext adventures to arguments over best princess, to letters to celestia from Hillary Clinton. Zyrian took the stack and has promised to scan and upload them to make sure he is harrassed plenty so they all go up sooner than later.
I don't even know how many peple I met and i fear it would read more as a who's who of pony authors and be bragging. I met up with old friends and made countless new ones. Some small highlights include: Teasing Somber for his fanclub, later begging him to let me read his clop (which he may even post someday!) Debating the merits of alternative soda pop at five guys (My endless thanks to their staff for putting up with our ten-plus group repeatedly appearing demanding food all weekend) Discovering Titanium Dragon is a big soft squishy blonde teddy bear and not a scary pony-eating dragon like he claims. JedimasterEd enthralling the entire dinner while he gave Bad Horse his birthday present. Getting amazing photos of Your Antaognist's stunning Zecora cosplay (sans mohawk). The gorgeous Bronycon flags flying from the flagpoles, the anxiety around the Black Lives Matter Protests in Baltimore and the undercurrent of worry that things would go the same way they had in Dallas. The incredible number of people who came out for the EQD panel and the many wonderful questions we received. (I'll make sure to blog when the videos go live)
I managed to avoid con crud til Sunday night but it eventually tackled me flat. I struggled through it and then slept on the drive home. I'll perhaps do a more eloquent blog post when I'm well, but I may also get distracted and forget.
For now, to sleep!

Actually it's pretty good to see in the first place. We are ambulatory hydrogen byproducts with overgrown lumps of neural processors that interpret photons from the chemical breakdown of rhodopsin family compounds to trans-retinol and pattern match this optical signal against our internal library of tasty things we can put into the bag of acid in our bellies and extract their nutrient remains.
