Any real DPS FFXIV players out there know 1 thing.

Pulling a fucking boss is counterproductive. Why would I wanna be dealing with missing a positional, especially if I'm tryna get this done as quick as possible?
The mentality is just oh I pull all this crap, force healer to stop dpsing to save me.. this is faster.

No, you pleb, its not. If he wanted super godly run, get a tank to 60.. do it himself.

Could a group clear it in 17 minutes? Sure, but i would never expect a DF group to do it right off the bat. Any death is a sign of trying to go too fast with a group that can't handle it. Deaths also slow things down, which is another sign it will take longer to clear.

This actually sounds like someone i had in FF14GilHub my first time tanking DD the other day. I knew the dungeon, but our healer was a sprout, and i figured smaller pulls would be better. He constantly tried to pull other groups, so i figured he could tank them. ;)

You weren't in the wrong, I would've tried to kick him myself or just let him die and pull at my own pace. If the healer saved them from dying I'd save the healer at most.
I'd have scolded him constantly in the chat, too. DPS who pull are the worst.

Only time I condone it is when the healer has fully buffed the party nd the tank hasn't pulled yet. Tanks who don't pull after buffs are fully really annoy me too :U

In case you didn't know, "KappaPride" is an emote on the popular streaming website twitch.tv. It looks like this. "Kappa" by itself is a separate emote that denotes sarcasm/trolling, but KappaPride is supposed to be a playful joking when someone says something borderline homosexual.

Did my first run of Praterium(I think? Ends with Gaius, Ultima Weapon and Lahabrea). New person bonus popped. Everyone immediately ran through. I hadn't viewed cutscenes yet sony the time I had quit the Buy FFXIV Gil cutscenes they were already moved into the next areas without having killed anything.

I asked them to please slow down slightly just so I had a few extra seconds to exit cut scenes. The response was "too bad. This is how we all learned. Git gud." They then waited until I was literally just about to get on the elevator after on of the bosses and then went down trapping me up top.

So I blew the tier 2 limit break on a random mob and typed "oops" in the chat. Not much else to screw the run up so best I could do was slow it down.

Worst experience I have had in this game ever. Honestly, it will probably remain the worst. Bunch of assholes. All I needed was enough time to have to view the first couple seconds of a cutscene because they don't auto skip if you haven't viewed them before. This was apparently too much to ask.
