Hey · 7:24am Jul 6th, 2016

Hey guys.

Sorry I've been inactive for, like, ever. Probably none of you really care and I don't blame you. Just wanted to have a bit of a talk for a bit.

First off, you have probably noticed my site staff title removed. Xaq messaged me and said that I'm welcome to come aboard again in the future if I can contribute to the team, and I understand where he's coming from. I'm still here if anyone needs to chat me up, but I guess talking to me on skype or through steam is a lot better, since I rarely check here.

Secondly, my 'love' of My Little Pony has pretty much dropped off. I still like the cute art and seeing some stuff, but I don't want to watch the show anymore. Mainly because of the community's toxicity, I guess? Not FIMFiction, specifically, I just mean in a general sense. A lot of 'bronies' (I've really have come to hate that name) have really seeped into the game I use to love (TF2) and its community spiraled out of control. Dumbass controversy over name changes for characters, drama, and other shit over the internet has contributed to it too, but the ruining of a game for me has caused me to dislike the community. And, let's be honest, a lot of people get really out-of-control with My Little Pony; to the point where it's obscene or really abnormal. I may be hypocrite, since I've acted like an obsessive idiot in the past, too, but I can't help but feel the love some people give the show has negatively impacted the community's presence and give a really bad impression on others. But, that's just my opinion. I'm not asking for agreement, or even argument, I'm just saying how I feel. You guys can still do whatever the hell you want.

Because of that, I need to move on with my life. I'm still done with writing, and I'm more than welcome to talk about my stories and telling their respective endings if people are still curious, but I need to focus on moving forward. I want to earn my career as a Corrections Officer, and I can't do that with being attached to this community. I still loved that I met all the people here, and I'm not exactly 'leaving' the community or this website (Like I said, I may come back to the site staff and actually do shit when I can work it in. It may be fucking tedious work, but I still like helping out), I'm just not going to really think about it.

I don't know, I'm rambling and just wanted to type stuff up. Feel free to message me or something on Steam or Skype (I might check here every week or so) if you need to talk about something. Not like I won't do that.

Understandable. Glad to see you back.

Don't worry about it Shadowflash. We have our own life and problems, and there is a time we have to move on without distractions. Even so, you will still be welcomed here.

Also, even though, I am very young, it is not hard to understand that, because I am sure I'll have to make a similar decision when I get older.

About the fandom, I feel as though it has gotten worse, with the brony haters, the absolute lovers, and much more. It's funny how the show is about "Friendship is Magic" when all I see is drama in a few places. Oh well, there is reality in this world.

But in all seriousness, I am glad you are here on this site even though we never really talked. :twilightsheepish:

Should we consider your unfinished stories dead in the water? :B It's good to know you're still kicking, at least. Everyone seems to move on in time, so don't feel bad about that.

Godspeed, man.

Yeah. A previous post of mine stated that I would stop writing. Sorry if you didn't read that one, just didn't want to write it again. I feel as though I cannot write to the standard that most users want nowadays for fan fictions. I also have trouble of dealing with plot development and often come at a dead end. It's really shitty that some people won't get to experience some of the stories they kind of enjoyed from me to the end, but I can easily tell them what happens if they're curious.

It's k. :B And yeah, that's always a nice thing to do. :D

A corrections officer? Good lord you got pozzed by the staff here. And I may very well have caused this.

Mainly because of the community's toxicity, I guess?

SPEAKING OF GETTING POZZED. You're the LivingTombstone of FiMFiction, I swear. Not in the "talent" way but in the regretting this way. Let me guess, you're an Undertale and Homestuck fan now.
