As I find my mind filled with crazy ideas for more narratives, I've been realizing I should limit how many active stories I have at a time. Thinking on the matter, it occurred to me that I could just ask you all, the potential readers, which narratives you'd be most interested in seeing developed. The following are the basic premises I've come up with and hold an interest in sharing with you all. Ignore the terrible placeholder names.
Twilight and AJ Investigate - Very heavily inspired by Twin Peaks, small town Sheriff Applejack and Canterlot Investigator Twilight Sparkle investigate a series of mysterious crimes that slowly reveal the seedy underbelly of the rural burg. The story would be driven by the relationships and interactions of the ponies living in the town, and the harder they investigate, the more our heroes discover the case is not as mundane as they'd assumed.
Pinkie Pie Horror Thing - Following the events of Pinkie Apple Pie, Pinkie starts to wonder if the lineage being lost was more than a coincidence. She keeps searching, but it's pretty clear someone is trying to stop her. That's when she starts to notice a figure watching her from the distance. Yup, it's a slendermane story.
Vinyl x Sombra - Yes, I know that my previous short version is completely absurd, but I've been coming up with ways to expand on the story and turn it into something larger and more coherent. Follow along as a DJ and a King deal with the personal drama of being bound in blood and slowly come to terms with their new life together.
Dead Space AU - The USG Smart Cookie is the pride of the CEC fleet, home to the best and the brightest that crew that Equestria has to offer. On what was supposed to be a routine planet cracking operation, the crew finds themselves in a struggle to survive. Sure, it sounds insane, but hear me out. I've slowly come up with a coherent way to merge the two universes with only minimal suspension of disbelief. The narrative follows the general arc of the Dead Space comics, movie, and first game, but with sufficient deviation that you neither need to know Dead Space nor will knowledge of the series spoil any of the major twists.
Fluttershy's a Vampire - After the whole incident with the vampire fruit bats, Fluttershy didn't quite return to normal. She's started to feel urges, ones she hasn't felt before in her life. Something is drawing her to seek out ponies in the night to satisfy her desires, despite knowledge that society would shun her if they ever found out. Brace yourself for allegory.
Rarity and Spike vs Fantasy RPG Tropes - Exactly what it says on the tin. Rarity is the chosen one, the only pony who can wield the sword of justice and slay the dark god. A reluctant Rarity and a genre savvy Spike slowly deconstruct the entire genre as they trek across Equestria.
The Shadows over Canterlot University - Attending a prestigious school on a sports scholarship, Scootaloo starts to hear whispers of darker goings on. Despite no interest in getting involved, the mysterious happenings slowly drag her in. Worst of all, she's stuck as roommates with Silver Spoon. Shifting back and forth between the university experience and a slowly building feel of cosmic horror, this story promises twists and turns.

After reading that Vinyl short, now I have to see how it continues.
And I just realized that Queen Sombra is basically Vinyl with Octavia's color scheme. That's gotta get an interesting reaction from Tavi.
