Okay, so I haven't posted a blog for over a week and my bloggy finger is getting itchy.
So Fimfiction has this group called Authors Helping Authors. It's got nearly 2000 members, but still isn't the most active of groups. Which is a shame because hardly any of us are professional writers. (There are a handful of published authors on this site who also find the time to write fanfiction for us for free, but not many.) But even those of us with no ambition to become professionals want to improve our writing skills, to learn to better express our ideas. And helping each other is one good way to achieve that.
Anyway I'll stop rambling and get to my point, which if I were a better writer, I might have opened with.
The Authors Helping Authors group has a Skype chat group. (No, it's not used for voice or video calls… just typey typing!) It's quite new and doesn't have many people in it yet. But we'd love to have more.

Even if you don't have a device with the Skype app installed, you can still use that link if you've got a modern-enough web browser and a Skype account.
So do it. Join. Worst case scenario: it's boring or annoying, and you leave.
