E3 2016 Day 0 · 8:04am Jun 13th, 2016

Well, there were pretty much only two things that caught my eye for the pre-E3 briefings.

Titanfall 2
Both single player and multiplayer look amazing. Titans from the first game (Atlas, Ogre, Stryder) are not returning, being replaced by what looks to be (unless my reading comprehension and math is off) six unique titans. Considerable graphical improvements, grappling hook for a specific class, and lone-wolfing around the map is now much harder, as rodeoing a titan is not the headache (for the titan pilot) as it used to be, now a rodeoing pilot will jump onto a titan and simply remove a battery before jumping off, taking a chunk of health. They can then take the battery to a friendly titan to heal or power it up.

The single player campaign looks engaging too, and judging from the trailer, will probably be having us form an emotional attachment to our titan.

Skyrim: Special Edition
Surprising absolutely no one, Bethesda unveiled Skyrim: Here's What PC Had Four Years Ago Edition. It brings overhauled graphics and mod support to Xbox One and PS4.

Additionally, those who bought Skyrim and all DLC (or the Legendary Edition) on Steam may be able to get the Special Edition for free.

Will I be getting it? Absolutely. I know the visuals Bethesda is toting is attainable via mods, but this way, I can play the vanilla special edition and get those same visuals without 15 mods that may not get along with each other. Yeah, I stopped my modded playthrough of Skyrim because I couldn't figure out which one out of 40 was making the fucking water flicker horribly.

Halo 5
Oh, and 343 announced that Halo 5's campaign was getting Score Attack, along with a few related achievements.

So with that, and Warzone Firefight at the end of the month, Halo 5 will be just about at "Halo Reach" levels of LAUNCH CONTENT.

Good job, 343.
