Some Bad News · 2:40am Jun 13th, 2016
Hi everybody,
Due to a sudden, unexpected complication in my personal life, I possibly probably almost certainly am going to have to stop writing ponyfic--or, at the absolute least, go on an indefinite hiatus--for reasons I'd rather not share. However, you guys have been awesome, so I felt you deserved at least a little warning before I vanish into the ether.
As I've said, WTF 2 is completed and uploaded, so that will finish, at least; I also have a "For the Good of Equestria" side-fic that's almost ready to go, so that will post as well.
Beyond that, I'm not entirely sure what to do; though WTF2 ends on a fairly conclusive note, Equestria ended on a cliffhanger. Any thoughts on how you'd like me to tie those off? Perhaps I can post my notes or something... Any volunteers who would like to take 'em over, maybe?
(FWIW, I've been thinking about maybe trying to turn the humanlike, low-magic, already pretty-much-human WTF into an actual humanized novel; though it's a little harder to be cruel to humans than to cartoon ponies, in this particular case, I don't think it would be too hard to find-replace "hooves"-->"hands"...)
Also, I've committed to help with a couple editing projects; those I will finish. I've been helping Jowijo spit-shine "Someone Still Loves You" (a fun Scootadash/Rumbleoo fic), and I've been asked to help with another project or two, which I may update you on, depending on how the author(s) would like to proceed.
I want to emphasize as well: this is not your guys' fault. Though I would have liked these to get a little more attention (as I've complained to a few of you) this is something purely on my end, not yours. Heck, I was having fun just writing these things 
I have a few days before I need to lock everything down, so there is a remote possibility I might be sheepishly deleting this blog post in a few days--but this hiatus thing is looking pretty definite at this point. In either case, thanks for all your attention, comments, and love, and thanks for making this an awesome ride!

If it makes you feel better, everyone's limbs are still attached, no one's dying, that sort of thing--just, something has come up that I need to deal with (I'm being vague on purpose; sorry I can't be more clear).

I honestly think that what you've left with WTF alone is a thing of beauty that I hope someone in a Pinksimilar role gets some hope or cheer from; worst comes to worst, it's a gorgeous piece of work. We don't "deserve" to know details; the courtesy of telling us that stuff's going down is sufficient.
That said, feel free to fling links for the novelization out here at some point even if you close the stable door; I'd love to read it.
