I never ever thought that I would have as many people following my Ponyfall as there are out there right now, its kind of daunting to say the least.
Work has begun on chapter 2 despite my being distracted with other ideas that are flying around in my head, and should be nearing completion by the weekend or early next week.
As I have been working with TheSlorg and the rest of the authors of the collaboration, I know that I am going to have to tread very lightly when it comes to introducing Ashton/Discord to the mix of my normally rational household. I will do my very best to keep most of the 'insanity' in check, but also, dear readers, please remember that this is a fictional story with very fictional characters. As such, things are not always going to play by the rules of reality as we know it nor are they supposed to: these are humanized ponies for crying out loud.
However, before the story really gets into gear and takes off, I want to ask a question:
How do you think that I should proceed with the chapters after Twilight awakes in my home?
Should I go the strict comedy route? The total-reality route? A mix? Other?
Let me know what you guys and gals think.

It would be rather different to have her wake up to the news or her show (MLP:FiM) playing.
Comedy, definitely comedy.

I agree with easymac. It'd be awesome if you didn't show her the show... but discovered it via waking up.
Mr. Backpack, I don't believe that we are qualified to choose, everything depends on what approach you are planning. Will you continue Twilight's Alice in Wonderland parade?

We can't say. It also depends on whose viewpoint is it. Will you be with her when she wakes up? Will your girlfriend identify her cutie mark?
Will she think that the very existence of a character you love will get in the way of your relationship? 
It all depends on what you want us to see. Sure comedy is the best option because it will follow the lore of MLP:FiM, but are you following it or are you doing a Christopher Nolan take and transforming the world according to your vision. Also take into account that Twilight will be extremely confused when she wakes up in a human body. She might even remember Lyra.
It is up to you to decide what is best for the fic, although some advice could help guide you to a better story.
