Fun Fact about the South Park Episode "Make Love, Not Warcraft" and WoW · 4:14pm May 30th, 2016
If you've seen the episode, this is The Sword of 1000 Truths. To WoW players, it's known nowadays as Slayer of the Lifeless, found in Naxxramas, Wrath of the Lich King.
See, I thought in the episode they had reused the sword model from the Naxxramas 40 man raid from Vanilla World of Warcraft, as Naxxramas was remade for Wrath of the Lich King, and all the loot came with it, just upgraded to fit the expansion. What was interesting is that Slayer of the Lifeless was never found in Vanilla WoW. It was never in Naxxramas 40 man, it was only in Naxxramas from Wrath of the Lich King, which means in the episode, it was a completely new model made by Blizzard themselves and was implemented AFTER the episode.
Now, in the episode, the dad character that sucked at the game and didn't get it logged on to assist the kids who were getting camped by a no life neckbeard and tosses the sword to them to kill him. That's when I realized. They didn't call the sword "Slayer of the Lifeless" in game just cause it was in a zombie/undead dungeon. It's not the slayer of undead, it's the slayer of no life neckbeards.
