Have you seen what the official Sonic the Hedgehog twitter page posted in reaction to this trailer? It's absolutely brilliant.

I wanna have confidence that the game is alright, and Deep Silver simply don't know how to market (I have no interest in it, I'm saving my cash for Zero Time Dilemma or FE: Fates) but I'm really hoping the game can deliver on what Inafune promised.

On the other hand...everything I've seen from MN9 does not inspire confidence so...yeah

Look, I'm not sure how old you are in real life, but usually people can deduce and review by age 16. I'm not judging you by your age, or at the very least not trying to, but reviewing things is a necessity to existing in this world. It's how we judge if milk has gone bad or not, or how long it'll take to get to grandma's house or whatever. Reviewing is one of the many building blocks of life.

Now, for example, this trailer is absolute and utter shit because of the narrator in the background telling us crap we already know about video games. He was unnecessary, but it doesn't end there. The trailer tells jokes it thinks we get, but we don't due to us knowing almost nothing about the characters in this game. Everything flies by too quickly, Mighty's voice actor sounds annoying, and those explosion effects suck absolute balls. But the real kick to the balls? All this horrible voice acting, the terrible explosion effects, the entire disinterest the trailers and the lot? They were all done...

...with four million dollars worth of funding.

Wow.

Anyways, take some time to review things and get a feel for it, alright?

Honestly this is a shame. Much as I criticize it at times, I genuinley believe in the power of Kick starter to create wonderful and amazing things. I mean, for pete's sake we're getting an old school Castlevania game, an old school mascot platformer game, AND an asymetrical multiplayer horror game based on Friday the Thirteenth! All through the power of kickstarter!

But THIS?...This really turns a lot of people off of the idea of crowdfunding in general, so it's a shame to see the first 'big kickstarter breakout' gathering so much hate before launch.

Again, I'm cautiously optimistic but...
