As my main account announced, the Shooting stars fic is done and cancelled. And in it's place is something new. At the same time, a certain writer released season 10 of starfleet. and that got me thinking...what would I do differently.

OOOPS! Sorry, kind of forgot about something important.

Sorry, but when your dream (A Sonic movie that did well and made big) came true you kind of frogot. Well, that and having some fun on other sites picking apart some new targets. And weapon making.

    More on weapon making later.

    Evolution new chapter!

Yay, a new chapter. No, I havent' watched all of the finale though I was spoiled and it ended the way I wanted it to.

But, you are probably wondering why it took me over a year to finish. Well, it's a long story, and no it doesn't really have anything to do with my burnout or annoyance.

Some really helpful words of advice · 11:59pm May 24th, 2016

As you may not know, I am a fan of FOE. It, as well as the pony classic Immortal Game, are two big influences on my work. WEll, Eqd just had an interview wiht her and well...

While it is mostly stuff that I already knew thanks to previous interviews. There was a certain point that I would like to say I completly agree with. ITs in the advice section

I find that it is important to take some time to plot out major themes, events and other important notes you want in that story. (This applies as much to individual chapters as to the story as a whole.) Think of it as similar to playing “connect the dots” -- not only should you have a good idea of what the final picture will be, but you should also jot down on a notepad all the “dots” you want to be sure to include. Then, when you start writing, begin at the first “dot” and work your way towards the second.

Personally, I find it’s just as important to not have everything plotted out before you start writing. By playing “connect the dots”, you give yourself room for inspiration and creativity while you are actually writing. (For me, if I knew everything I was going to write before I started typing, I would get bored. By only knowing the key points to each chapter, the story becomes an adventure for me as well.)

Tis deintaly true, considering what has been happening with Fall of Starfleet lately. I mean, to start off wiht, I had about a 10-20 rough draft that amounted to "Conquest comes in, fucks things up, Twilight comes back, mane 6 save the day." That was it.

And now, here I am, 10 chapters in (11 if you count my April Fool's joke. The real joke is...well, that is a secret and this story has changed so much from the original conception. I've been developing the Starfleet team to beyond what I had thought was possible. Ok, except Rhymey, I feel down I can't seem to find a way to make people LIKE tjhe guy!!!! I have been seeing themes spring up that I hadn't thought of and some ony come up because of reviews, comments, and pm's from all of you wonderful fellows. It's really amazig. I don't know how I got here, but I am forever grateful for this and the awesome fandom that allows it. It seems like every time I read a comment or something I get a new spark of inspiration to make something with the story.

Thanks to all of you for this.
