    Hi.

I have good news! We finally figured out what was wrong. I’m in the process of getting it treated. It requires two surgeries, one of which I had two weeks ago. It went very well, I’m recovering nicely. The second surgery is scheduled for March 5th.

If you want to know specifics, read on.

    Hi.

I’ve had a few developments over the past week. Hard to say how major they are just yet. They’re each certainly significant in their own ways, but they each also have strings attached to them. I’ll do my best to explain.

In Which Habitual Learns He Isn't Good at Writing BDSM · 11:01pm May 24th, 2016

Okay, so here’s the deal.
I’ve been spending the last two weeks trying to write out a new of Kinks. I wanted it to be this kind of BDSM thing between Rainbow and Applejack, with Rainbow being the dom and Applejack the sub. I’ve done a fair bit of research on the kinds of things that are arousing to people with a BDSM fetish, and I was using that knowledge to try and make a hot little romp.

It hasn’t been going well. I’m not into BDSM, and every time I sit down to work on it, I’ve found my motivation sapped and I have to push myself to keep going on it. I’m not really invested in the idea, I’m not aroused by it, and it really has turned into a chore. And that’s a really big no-no. This is my hobby, I do it for fun, and if I find myself trying to push through something here that I’m not really invested, I don’t see the point in continuing it.

So yeah, even though I got about 4500 words of this thing done, I’m writing it off as a college try and moving on. This is frustrating considering I’ve spent a good chunk of time on it, but I know that continuing it just isn’t a good idea. I have other things I could be working on.

I’ve decided that I’m going to post a commission page here in the off-chance that someone actually wants me to write something for them. It’s not something I’m going to be heavily advertising (save for this blog and making it a sticky on my userpage) but I figure it’s better to have these kind of things and not need them, versus the alternative. You can find the commission details on my userpage, and if you have any further questions, you can send them to me via PM.

As for what I’m going to be working on next, that’s something I’m still working on. I have to work out some details and plans here and there, but hopefully I’ll have something up by the end of this week at the very latest. It's going to be a "new" story that I've had the first part of for a while now, and I think I'm going to turn it into a three-part thing. I just need to make some edits and get a good cover pic for it, and it'll be good to go.

Unfortunately, it is hard for anyone to really write a good story (or play) about something they're not into much at all.

You know what they say, write what you know. So... more pregnancy? Unless you get enough of an outlet for that through Fecundity of course.

If you need a hand with bdsm stuff, you could ask friends who're into bdsm *coughs quietly.*

Werd to the berd my friend. You've the right of it. Why write if you don't enjoy the writing, unless you're being paid, and even then, eesh. Plus, the finished product is almost invariably better when you're genuinely inspired to create it rather than forcing yourself to bang out more words.

Looking forward to more from you!
