Eighth birthdays, car accidents, and a question. · 2:45am May 24th, 2016
Well, recently we celebrated Elizabeth's eighth birthday and I have to say cake plus ice cream plus bouncy castle equals exhaustion. The party and everything was fun, it was just trying to get her to go to bed later on that sucked, she was literally bouncing. Besides that some prick nailed Dan as he was pulling out of the parking lot of Smiths, and now he has a broken wrist, so he won't be able to write for awhile, sucks I know but at least it was his off hand. Now for the question, me and Dan were arguing about what martial arts we should enroll Elizabeth in, I said we should enroll her in Judo, because of the discipline it teaches and I did it, when I was younger. Dan wants Krav Maga, because he feels it's better in self defense, better discipline and he did when he was younger. We asked Elizabeth and he said she'd like to do both, but we explained we can only have her do one right now. So we came to the agreement that whatever you guys decide for will be the one.
Krav Maga
Judo
I'm gonna be honest with you guys, it really doesn't matter which one you pick since both will benefit her. Though there was this crazy Russian guy in my school who knew Judo and kicked someone's ass. Then again, a few of my friends are black belts in Tae Kwon Do. Krav Maga is something new to me.
Krav Maga. I took Ryukyu Kempo when I was a kid and one of the things I disliked was how ridged it was.
