lately i'm getting mad at paypal because of transfer times and i'm poor now! :x but anyway, commissions are actually coming in nicely, so thank you to everyone who is helping w/ them.
if you wanted a commission from me and i didn't respond via PM, it's probably because i literally couldn't--fimfic is doing weird things to me w/ certain ppl. GenericUsername in particular, hit me up, i wanna work w/ you, mang!

no, pretty much. i see that i get them via email, but i don't rly like coming onto fimfic or using the message system to communicate
On one hand I want to support you and I love your writing, but $0.05 a word is a little much, even if it sounds ridiculous to say so. A 3000-word fic would come out to be $150.
3986700 that's baseline for industry standard, and i charge it only because the idea of valuing writing is something i'm not ashamed of. that said, when i write non-fiction, i get paid $0.10-$0.15/word, and i don't have to emotionally wrench every word out of myself like a howling rat from its den. writing porn is hard work--i don't have a problem charging for that work. goodness knows art commissions have gone for much more than that.
