S6E6: No More Prances impact on Celestia's New Student · 5:40am May 22nd, 2016
Just got done watching all the new season 6 episodes that I hadn't had time for, and No More Prances concerned me the most. I felt I should make a blog about what'll be going on in Celestia's New Student going forward.
I'm sure some of you can guess why this episode is unavoidably being mentioned. So much of it touches on breaking canon in my story that I'm starting to believe making Celestia's New Student take place after these events is the best course of action.

Yes, Jimmy. I'm pretty sure I can do that. In my mind, there's little reason for me not to.
This would work out for the most part in many scenes both in the show itself and my fictional story. If you read the story with the thought of Trixie having already befriended Starlight Glimmer in S6E6, things come together just fine. Plus, it would make things easier on my part rather than trying to make the episode take place later on in the story instead. Assuming readers agree with this, I'll probably include Starlight in later chapters.

Why not just ignore the episode? AU is not a bad thing, after all.

If you want to make sure you keep fitting with canon, that is probably the best approach.
I never read fanfiction thinking about how it would fit into cannon anyways. I just find people writing fics with fun ideas and rolling with them. The events of a show wont ruin a fanfiction for me personally.....

Trixie having more friends would be really fun.
