The wait is over, folks! The most important day of the year has finally arrived!
That’s right; it’s my birthday! If you were following me last year, you might know what that means. For the newcomers and those with short memories, here’s the rundown.
TL;DR: I'm giving away keys for PC games.
Perhaps you’re familiar with this little book called The Fellowship of the Ring? I know, I know, it’s super niche, so you’ve probably never even heard of it. There’s a movie version that came out a few years ago, but no one really went to see it, and it’s not like it had any big stars or a big budget or anything, so I doubt any of you wasted your money on it. Anyway, the book had this passage:
Bilbo met the guests (and additions) at the new white gate in person. He gave away presents to all and sundry - the latter were those who went out again by a back way and came in again by the gate. Hobbits give presents to other people on their own birthdays. Not very expensive ones, as a rule, and not so lavishly as on this occasion; but it was not a bad system. Actually in Hobbiton and Bywater every day in the year it was somebody’s birthday, so that every hobbit in those parts had a fair chance of at least one present at least once a week.
Since I’m a crotchety old bastard, I’m sure you can understand why I don’t get many gifts on my birthday. But instead of letting my unfortunate lack of popularity among people with disposable income get me down, I decided to do things hobbit-style. Yes, that’s right; I’m giving shit away!
What am I giving away, though? Well, I’m an avid PC gamer, so I buy a lot of games throughout the year, many of which come in bundles. And of course, those bundles often include games I already have. I hold onto those throughout the year, and when May 20 rolls around, I give the extra keys away! Now, this obviously means I have nothing to offer to non-gamers and console gamers. Sorry, but you’re out of luck. Buy a PC before my next birthday, though, and you can join in the fun on May 20, 2017.

Rule #1: This giveaway operates on a first come, first served basis. Requests must be made in the comments of this post, and they will be fulfilled in the order of their posting.
Rule #2: One game per person. Please don’t try to use alts to get more stuff. I reserve the right, however, to give away multiple, related products to a single person if I feel it’s appropriate.
Rule #3: Only people who are already following me at the time of this posting are eligible to make requests until 12:00pm CDT on May 21. After that, anyone may make a request, whether they're following me or not. This giveaway will persist through the end of May.
Rule #4: All games are redeemable through Steam unless otherwise noted. In most cases, I'll send your key via PM, but a few can only be delivered via Steam's gifting system.
Rule #5: On May 31, until midnight CDT, anyone who has previously received a game may request another.
Rule #6: It’s always possible that a key listed here has already been used. I’ve tried to avoid it, but if it happens, you can pick something else.
Tips:
–Refresh the comments after making a request. If someone just beat you to the game you were asking for, you can edit your comment to request another game.
–I understand some people are shy about asking for stuff from people they don't know. Don't be. I want to get rid of this stuff, and I'll be at least as grateful to you for taking a game as you will be for receiving it.
–I really want people to play and enjoy these games, so if it would be likely to sit in your Steam library for months, please consider waiting a little while before making a request.
–When I acknowledge a claim, the game will be crossed off the list. If it’s already crossed out, it’s not available. No need to look through the comments in that case.
–If you have questions about any of the games, feel free to ask via PM or any other way you have of reaching me. Official requests still have to go in the comments below.
–If you know someone who would like one of these games, but who is not following me, feel free to send them this way after the first 24 hours.

Sorry, but this rule (which I'm editing for extra clarity) exists for a good reason, and I'm not making exceptions. It's primarily to ensure that people don't show up, follow me to get a game, and then unfollow when they have the key. I also want to make sure my pre-existing followers have first pick. If no one else has requested that one by noon tomorrow, you're more than welcome to lay claim to it at that time, whether you're following me or not.
3958313 Okay, I always stay followed to people. I kind of like that they follow me in return though because I am kind of OCD and it bothers me to see my two lists uneven if that makes sense. But it is up to you whether you want to follow me as well or not.
The reason I say this is because of Pinterest and Twitter. I am pretty sure I am following 50 extra people on each one who were following me at the time but then unfollowed me. It sucks because I can't figure it out how to unfollow them in return so now I have more follows on my end then watches on both accounts. You can imagine with my ocd it bothers me to no end.
Eh...anyway, that is my rant about that. And I shall return to make a request later I suppose.

3961704 I couldn't really tell you. I'm not a fan of either series. I did enjoy the Tomb Raider reboot, but the rest of the series never entertained me much. As for Resident Evil, I've never played one of those games that I enjoyed, but I know they're hugely popular. I just don't understand why.
