Concerning Queen of Blades and Little Lulu

So at this point you've probably noticed that I haven't published any chapters in many months, and I'm afraid that I don't exactly have good news concerning that. The state of things is entirely my fault, and I won't make excuses about how 'life got in the way' or stuff like that, fact is that my drive to write has simply been in slow decay for the past year or so. Before you start coming up with

Erevis Cale story and a few updates

As you may or may not know, a while ago I posted a blog post concerning my wish to write a one-shot to get past my writer's block on Queen of Blades. Well, that story is now published to the site! Erevis Cale: Dark Side of the Moon is a sort of 'one-shot prologue' for a possible future story I've been

    Ideas for a one-shot

Once more I have hit that infernal wall called 'writer's block'. 1500 words into the new chapter of Queen of Blades, and I've suddenly lost all inspiration. Last time this happened was with Seraphim, and I got over it by getting started on Queens of Blades instead.

    Ten millions words

So I noticed that I've hit the ten million words read mark,

    In just 11 weeks...

I was wondering if I should maybe do something else than spend almost every waking moment reading MLP fanfics, maybe go outside for a while and do something productive before I lose complete grasp on reality?

    Then I remember...

New story, and some other minor things · 7:18pm Sep 2nd, 2012

So, as you may already know, I've recently published another story, namely a Starcraft crossover:

Queen of Blades

Where Sarah Kerrigan, aka the Queen of Blades, is sent to Equestria by the Xel'Naga artifact at the end of the WoL campaign. The idea isn't originally my own, in fact it was something that Destructorspace had been planning for some time. He wasn't entirely certain in his own ability to write it however, so I suggested that I'd give it a shot and see how it turned out. Well enough according to him and a couple of others, so I decided to submit it, though I actually wrote the prologue chapter in the middle of the night, between 1 and 6 AM.

Now, this doesn't mean that I'll stop working on Seraphim, as I still very much want to continue that particular story. By suggestion from TownCrier I've decided to add some extra background and setting information to the prologue chapter, and generally try to fix up my earlier chapters as best I can. These updated chapters will probably be out rather soon, and if I'm satisifed with the finished product, I'll most likely continue writting the next chapter then. Until then, Queen of Blades is a very interesting idea which I enjoy writting, it's a fresh breath of air, if you will. It also helps that I'm a major Kerrigan fanboy.

Anywho, if you're only familiar with either the one or the other of my fics, I suggest you try and take a look at the other. If you decided to Watch me, I'm certain you'd find them both entertaining

Oh, a quick warning, Queen of Blades is going to be rather dark, at the very least more so than Seraphim. It won't go into true grimdark territory, but there will be mindrape and infested/mutated creatures aplenty. The Queen of the Zerg is not a nice person, nuff said. :applejackunsure:

:yay:

Thanks for the nod! :rainbowkiss:

So that means that I should wait on starting to read Seraphim since you are going to be adding stuff and what not?

That's... actually a really good point. I'll be updating the prologue now, no real reason to wait anywho :twilightblush:

I like the new story. I shudder to think of it bit my first system was an Atari 2600. :facehoof:
