Upcoming Projects

So, I've recently been working on a few stories at once. Don't know why I tend to work on different stories at once, but I guess that's just how I roll. Anyway, there are about three overall projects that have been on my mind.

First, there's the story with Flash Sentry. Now, I was very surprised by the reaction the story got. . .which wasn't as great as I had hoped. That's probably because it was all about Flash Sentry and he's not very popular, as far as I've seen. By the way, I'm thinking about blogging my reasons what I think about Flash Sentry and his potential as a character. Anyway, Ive been very excited to get started in writing the sequel to The Ballad of Flash Sentry: The Baron of Baltimare with Flash Sentry's father, Golden Rocket, as the main character. This is about his backstory and how he became the father that we see in the first story. This one I've been very excited to write because it's based on the famous story of the Count of Monte Cristo, the musical of which I fell in love with instantly — I've always wanted to do an MLP story inspired from that story. Unfortunately, it's still in its first stages right now — the plot's still in development. That's because there are two other big projects that I'm equally excited for.

Second, there's a chain of stories that I've just started writing. The first one, "A Message Written in Light and Shadow" I've posted recently and it's gotten fairly good reactions. I'm actually editing it because of reasons that I will post along with the edited "version 2" of the story. I'm planning on writing about six more short stories like this one. So, that's the plan.

And then, lastly, there's the super project. This one I've been developing the story for about three years, and I'm finishing up chapter 1 and currently working on chapter 2 of this particular story. It's going to be called "Morpheus Dormio: Broken Glass." This is not at all a short story. This will be a series of three books based on a guy who suffers from mental stuff and constantly struggles between living in his own world (the Real World) or daydreaming in the other more appealing world (the Fantasy World) with the main characters from, of course, MLP, Sonic the Hedgehog and Legend of Zelda. I've already predicted the scope of this project and it's going to be a big one, but I'm up for the challenge!

I'll be working on these projects throughout the year. I'll also be posting updates on how my work on these projects is coming along from now on, too. Thanks for the favorites and the comments that you've sent! They've kept me writing on.

You've got a sequel starring Flash's father based on Monte Cristo?! I thought Golden Rocket reminded me of Edmond Dantes. You're good.

Thanks! Unfortunately, I'm also working on a big project on Fallout Equestria right now, so we'll have to see. I'm still planning on getting back to writing The Golden Rocket story, though, because I've always love the Monte Cristo story and always wanted to write something like that.
