After all that positive feedback and genuine anticipation, I've started work on Escape From Tartarus. Now my concept for Tartarus differs from the idea of a regular supermax prison, and rather the concept of Dante's Inferno.
My idea of Tartarus extends to mere levels, to an actual place beneath Equestria, so big it might as well be another world. Inmates are sent to different levels based on the severity of their crimes, and in mellenias past, the prisoners have developed their own communities, towns and even strongholds. But, there are worse things in the pits of Tartarus than simple Equestrians or the Watch (The Guards).
Legend has it, the Old Gods created Tartarus, a prison to hold all of Equestria's evil. A place to vile and torturous, it haunts the very nightmares of little foals. But there's a story, that the Old Gods created a secret pathway through the levels of Tartarus for Rosetta, the first Alicorn, to find her way through the levels to rescue a love once taken from her. This pathway was never found, and dismissed as a fairy tale... but what if it wasn't.
Escape From Tartarus will be an Adventure Thriller bordering on Horror. Join our protag, Gilda, and Trixie on a journey through Ten Levels of Hell as they fight their way to freedom.
