As I said, maybe they will surprise us. In Gen 5 everyone wanted Fennekin after its reveal, but then came Greninja and stole the show.
Also I can imagine the cat becoming a fire/dark type; and it's german name is really dumb.
I have yet to be surprised, and to keep it that way. Although I did just receive an e-mail saying that Sun and Moon will be launching in The US and Europe this November. Bad news is, it also shows a rendition of what Pokemon is on the cover of the games.
