Trixieverse is complete… again
One million, one hundred and ninety-eight thousand, three hundred and fifty-one words (by FIMfiction's count) in eight books. Longer than blah blah blah pretty much fill in the blank, anything unless you're Short Skirts and Explosions.
And if you've read that 20th chapter, you may still not know all the secrets but you'll have seen my final-chapter reveals, the ones I didn't even tell my closest friends. That was fun.
And every step of the way, I'm happy with how it came out. I've got a Kindle version linked to in the last chapter, and after hours of work today it's also uploaded and thoroughly tagged and ship-referenced at www.applejinx.com so you can look up the cloppy bits by ship name. Please grab copies in whatever format you like, I imagine there will always be some people who like rereading and passing on the marvels of Trixieverse.
So, wrap party! Now, I understand that I've written so far out ahead of most readers that there are few who've crossed the finish line with me. And there are others who waited for that 'Completed' tag (please feel free to comment, I'll respond: this book has been rather short on company whilst I wrote it).
But for everybody who's been following all this over the years, thank you and I'll always enjoy running into you at cons (in Quills and Sofas, back again to Bronycon!) and it's always fun to see somebody working their way through the books and commenting as they go.
Take a bow, Trixieverse ponies, you made it
Yay! Thanks! Been on my to-read list for a bit. :)
I've read Kudz's epic several times, so I have no excuse for length :)
(2.4M words counting both)
I think this was actually the first Trixieverse story that I managed to get to before it was finished.
A part of me hopes it isn't the last, but I don't want to sound too presumptuous or demanding.
Yeah... SS&E has nothing on length compared to this... Seriously! Check out the word count and number of chapters.

Also... See you at Bronycon!
3933649 Yep! Justifiably the first entry into the continuing section of the One Million Words group
If I was being paid nearly $700 a month to write I'd have over two million words too as it is, I have managed around ten thousand words a week over much of Precious, and I feel it's been good work. I am not a pony-fiction-diarist: the clopfic books I write work as books, and I hope people continue to enjoy them. It's rather sold me on the idea of designing story with acts and specific endings, ideally very dramatic ones. I also have a weakness for the extensively set up twist
No, not that twist

Don't worry, you can't possibly be TRULY presumptuous or demanding since nobody is paying me or helping with anything I do. That guarantees it's all purely out of love of the craft, and what response I still get. Also, I wouldn't have been doing this since 2012 if I didn't love the characters, and I'm particularly delighted to see my 'anti-Jossing' streak keep going. Though honestly, I'd have been fine with just 'lonely and angsty Trixie needs cool friend': 'destroy-me-Trixie' was pretty startling, but adorable. All hail the prate and growerful TRISKIEE!
3933824 lol, I'm also one of the editors for the fic, An Extended Holiday, which is at 1.14 million words currently
3933919 Gotta love that group. I saw the 100,000 words group and I just went muahahahahaha and created the million words group
Note that the completed section is for sequels and series, because I MUCH prefer writing story arcs and timing stuff out into book-length narratives. You don't have to just go on endlessly to have a giant monster tome of a story. I heartily encourage doing it in discrete book form, though I think I can see just a leetle bit of an argument for the endless-journey fics. Seems you get fame and money for them, but it's creatively stifling.

readparty?Glad to have been able to keep up with the story.
Unlike for one of the other books, wasn't tracking the story and fell behind.

Commence party!
I was glad to have you. Though I do sometimes pretend you are Rorschach reading pony clop in secret
Congratulations! I'm still working my way through, but eagerly looking forward to catching up.
3933992 Hah.
Why Rorschach?
3935474 Only because of your clipped, fragmenty manner of speaking
3935512 Ah.
Makes sense.
Been readin' your works since I saw that Cupcakes fic. Thanks for writing so much, I'm glad to have been with the Trixieverse for so long.
3994363 And thank you for reading so much
Is this the last story?

The last Trixieverse story, at least until I spend some years doing other stuff that needs doing
