To Doctor Who or to not Doctor Who

Exactly what the title says. On one hand, I can try and watch it, quickly get obsessed, and binge-watch the whole series. Or I can just go on the wikipedia, spend a couple hours or so reading about it and then work from there. Cos' if I do, then I could probably try and write Doctor Whooves and Derpy Hooves stories, all the while butchering them on accident.

Might be a better idea to leave those ideas behind in that case, I don't want to get mauled by getting everything oh-so-very wrong.

I have an idea to just use magic instead of all the time-wimey terms and advanced science that borderlines on breaking my brain. Oh magic, how I love you for making my life just that much easier, chronomancy ftw.
