Story Idea From Friendship Games Blooper Reel · 2:38am May 6th, 2016
If you haven't seen it yet, there is a blooper reel for the Friendship Games movie and it is very entertaining to watch.
*INCOHERENT LAUGHTER*
This scene in particular caught my attention, but my idea didn't come into focus again until today, when I actually looked at the feature box and saw this story in it:
Twilight thought she'd had enough excitement for one day after meeting her human counterpart. Or so she thought until she was met with the uncanny feeling that Pinkie Pie was acting, well, a bit too equestrian.
Small oneshot based on the Official Equestria Girls blooper reel where it's implied the Pinkies from the two universes have traded places.
I read it, of course, and was immediately reminded of my idea. Which, unsurprisingly, is SombraPie. I'M SORRY, IS IT SO WRONG THAT I HAVE AN EG IDEA FOR THE FIRST TIME A WHILE?

Sombra has been with Pinkie for a long time. However, even though he has gotten used to her antics, he has to admit that she hasn't quite been herself.
Well, he's not wrong.
I'm sorry, but can you just imagine how shocked Sombra would be to find out that Pinkie isn't really his Pinkie, but really an alternate version of her? Imagine the crisis he would have. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE ACTUALLY A TEENAGER, HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN GOING ON?"
Meanwhile, EG Sombra is trying to understand why Pony!Pinkie saying "everypony" all the dang time.
Oh how I wish this had been on the DVD that would have been awesome.
That would not end well for Sombra.

Those are some funny bloopers. I do like all of the animals coming out of Fluttershy's backpack. What's in there, a portal?
...I want this idea to happen oh so bad...It's too funny, and heck, it must be really awkward for Pony!Sombra, considering the many times he spend nights with his pink lover, and now she is basically a teenager, it sounds so wrong.

Meanwhile, EG Sombra is wondering why Pinkie keeps hitting on him and has no clue how to feel about it.

I can also imagine the other Mane 6 would think it's Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie and Sombra is overreacting, while Sombra tries to prove that he isn't insane and it is truly a different Pinkie.

Oh, lord, what if Sombra tried to make a move on EG!Pinkie and she ends up freaking out because omg this was not a part of the agreement. Then Sombra finds out she's actually from the human world and just FLIPS OUT because "I JUST CAME ONTO A TEENAGER, THIS HAS GOTTEN TOTALLY OUT OF CONTROL."
Meanwhile, Twilight is trying not to have an aneurysm because seriously, both Pinkies are messing with the walls between their worlds and Sombra's worried about how he tried to kiss the wrong one?
Oh, God, can you imagine Sombra going into the human world to get Pinkie and he bumps into his other self?

Good golly, it's like Sombra's most embarrassing nightmare of sorts. He would probably be mad at his Pinkie, too, since she never told him anything and just left. XD

I bet he'd be so mad he would just charge past Twilight and drag EG!Pinkie with him while grumbling under his breath. He wouldn't even be put off by the new transformation, he'd just walk into the school and rigidly ask each member of the Humane Six, "Where's Pinkie?" if he saw them. (Meanwhile, they're all wondering what the hell is going on.)
Eventually, he shows up at EG!Sombra's classroom and sees Pony!Pinkie chatting it up with him. As soon as he steps inside, everyone goes dead silent and there's just this really intense staredown between all four of them. Finally, Pony!Sombra walks over to his Pinkie, takes her out of her seat, and then puts EG!Pinkie where she was sitting. He looks at the other him for a brief moment before saying, "keep an eye on her," and walking out while Pony!Pinkie waves goodbye cheerily.
Both EG!Sombra and Pinkie kinda sit there in silence for a long moment until Sombra goes, "...were those doppelgangers of us or have I been handling too many chemicals?"
Back in Equestria, Sombra is just so furious at Pinkie for pulling a stunt like that and giving him such a heart attack. She admits it was messed up not to tell him about the other her, but she keeps messing with him by calling him "Mr.Sombra"... Which he may or may not mind.

THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN, TOO. I really love it, and gosh darn, it would be super awkward, and I can't even blame Sombra, I probably be super angry too. Nonetheless, I do think Sombra wouldn't mind to be called, "Mr.", sounds like something he may get into.

Pinkie: Listen, I get you're upset, Mr.Sombra, but--

Pinkie: You know what I said... Mr.Sombra.
Sombra: ...I should not be turned on by that, but here we are.
MEANWHILE, TWILIGHT IS IN THE ROOM AND IS JUST HORRIFIED BECAUSE SERIOUSLY YOU DON'T EVEN LIVE HERE ANYMORE SOMBRA GO BACK TO YOUR OWN HOUSE GOD

LOL! I love it! But, man, that is awkward, and considering Starlight is sort of part of the Mane cast and lives with Twilight, I can just imagine her just asking, "Is this what you have to put up with?"
And, Twilight would just sigh, "Yeah..."

Well, she's already put off by Sombra considering he kinda enslaved an entire empire and was one of the big bads in one of the futures that she caused, so she kinda avoids him. But, when she sees him around Pinkie and the ridiculous escapades he goes on, she finds it a wonder how he could possibly be a threat to anyone.
