Pretty sure you both know, but the Western release SHOULD be announced at E3.

Shame to hear, can I at least get your brief thoughts on the trailer?
I'm personally digging the more varied dungeon design, and it seems like the bosses are either
A) other Persona users similar to Strega
B) Humans corrupted by shadows.
Either of which will be pretty interesting to see.
All in all, I'm personally pretty excited

Still, I have to admit the Japanese release is pretty gutsy, releasing two weeks before Final Fantasy 15.

3921909 I don't really have any impressions beyond (a) it looks like it's a really elaborate game, moreso than usual; (b) I like the kaitou theme because I have a bit of a thing for kaitou, and (c) I'm excited and can't wait.

3921920 You know Final Fantasy is not anywhere near as big in Japan as it is in North America and Europe, right? Honestly, Squeenix would do better to bet the farm on a new Dragon Quest game than on FF15, because they're ironically right back where they were 30 years ago when Final Fantasy was their Hail Mary. Persona 5 is going to DESTROY FF15 in the Japanese market.
