Episode Review: No Second Prances Season 6 Episode 6 · 6:47am May 1st, 2016

While it wasn't overall my top favorite episode, it also did not turn out as the worst in my opinion. This was quite a little entertaining episode, and I felt it fell along the lines of part filler episode and a friendship key episode for Starlight Glimmer. Twilight had quite a few goofy moments, the first being the fact that Silverware and plating techniques on a table kept coming up over and over again for the episode which kept making me laugh. Starlight reminds me of the young Twilight from season 1 and 2 right now. Remembering how Twilight was taught once how to make friends from Celestia, and how she has grown through the last 6 seasons, makes me wonder how Starlight will fair in learning these lessons as well. Twilight even said it at the end, the decision is yours, I cannot force my teachings upon you. It was great to see Peter New do so well with how funny his little speeches and mumble jumble was when Starlight cast that spell, and AJ could not stand it and Starlight had to reverse what she started. Out of all of the other 5 ponies that she tried to make friends with, Rainbow's was certainly the best and most amusing. Spitfire, and Starlight had no idea. Then Rainbow racing off in a supersonic speed made me laugh so hard. Then coming back and shocking Rainbow with not knowing what a Wonderbolt was, made her face go all funny crazy like. Starlight was not able to get pass Rainbow on that one. This also reminded me of Twilight's CLOCK IS TICKING when Starlight was running around telling herself not to stress. Now for Trixie, it was great to see the appearance of that mare again. This was a great little catch up that I just was thrilled and enjoyed seeing. It was a really interesting thing when Trixie came across as the competition and used Starlight, just to prove to Twilight she was not easily trusted. But it was surprising, Trixie actually did care. She was just in over her head about the magician show she was doing. "ITS A WORK IN PROGRESS!" The name thing was hilarious. But in the end things turned out happy. AND TRIXIE EVEN BOWED TO TWILIGHT :D. Enjoyable episode 7/10
