Coloring! (sort of) · 5:42pm Apr 30th, 2016
So! Finally back to trying to draw after... awhile. A couple months now, actually, I think.
Anyway, I wasn't entirely sure what to do, so, I decided to try my hoof hand at coloring something I'd drawn already!
First up is with the bucket fill tool which... well, it doesn't look great anyway, but if you look closely at the outline, it doesn't quite handle transparency well. Or really much at all.
Fortunately, it turns out there's actually a much better way to do this (GMIC), though is does require a small bit of setup. The result. A small change, to be sure, but definitely worth it.
Next up: Drawing an entire pony! Probably Applejack, since I'm pretty sure I have a link to a step-by-step lying around here somewhere.
