The chapter is complete 
Ended up being about 15.5K words. Don't know if im going to proofreading it tonight (Friday nights are not known for being productive) but i will be making an effort this weekend to get it proofread and sending it off to Kestrel. So it shouldn't be much longer. Sorry for the little extra wait compared to usual, i've been very busy this week. 
(I also blame Dark Souls 3 a little...)

Great. Now I'm even further behind than before. Been so busy with the end of semester that I just don't have the time to read 10-20k chapters, which saddens me greatly, since this story is so good. At least I now have 60k+ words to look forwards to reading after the finals.

It's pretty great in my opinion. It's a lot harder with a laundry list of things that make it harder. The biggest thing though is that all the difficulty makes exploration and tactical play much more important. You find that Preston Garvey doesn't annoy you quite as much because he tells you where all the safe spots are xD

Got myself a pretty great 10mm pistol that gives me +75% movement speed when I'm aiming, which makes it fantastic for sneaking away from things. I slapped all my upgrades on that sucker immediately.
3906575 I like that even though I'm level 63, a single grenade can still kill me. I'm powerful, yet still vulnerable. It's stopped the game from being boring at higher levels.
If you use mods, I would recommend the "Camping Equipment" mod and the "Save or Sleep" mod. They allow you to create a portable sleeping bag and to let you save at a bed without sleeping.

You just gotta explore and find all those beds lying around in the Commonwealth. It's not quite as much of a challenge if you don't have to determine if you can get back somewhere safe before going in somewhere dangerous.
Dark souls 3 is so hard don't you think?

As a dark souls veteran, I went in thinking I'd be a badass, but was blown away for the first few hours. They really pumped up the difficulty, but I love it, it feels like sort of a master challenge for long time players. If I had played this one first I probably wouldn't have gotten past the intro boss haha xD

3906966 I can find beds just fine, it's the stability of the game I'm worried about. I recently had a mission where I had to kill my way through a building of gunners (with no beds in sight). After about 20 minutes, I get to the last room and my FREAKING game decides to freeze on me. Now I have to go all the way back to the beginning for something that wasn't even my fault.

Not much of a Dark Souls person myself, but I managed to get a free copy via my friend, so I just thought what the hell and started playing it. After a few hours of playing, I'm still not that great
Although it has proven a good test for my PC, it copes really well.

Well, almost, i have't killed the secret boss yet, the nameless king... still working on that one. But god damn he's probably the coolest boss fight i've ever experienced in a game.
