Hello, Everypony!

My name is Jasmine Power, but you can call me Skitten!
I'm a pegasister, otherwise known as a female fan of MLP.
If you're wondering the identity of the Pony in my icon, she is my Ponysona, who has not been officially named yet, but I will call her Violet Mind for now, as I love the color violet, and I am often complimented for my intelligence and imagination. (she doesn't have a Cutie Mark yet because I haven't found any images I could use as a mark which fit my special talent, imagination. I'm considering just using a picture of book and a pen, though, as I am planning to be an author)

Now, with my last statement about me planning to be an author, you'd think that I would post lots of stories here, correct? Sadly, that is not the case. The reason for this is that, despite my masses of imagination and above average intelligence, I severly struggle with the simple process of deciding what words I should use to accurately convey what I'm trying to say. So my posts here will be brief oneshots, if I even post at all.
It also doesn't help that I struggle with fanfic in general. I'm much better at writing my own unique characters, and I'm much better at writing cat characters then I am at writing Pony characters. So if I ever write a fic, expect at least one cat character, because they're the easiest to write for me.
Also, did I forget to mention that I enjoy grimdark? Not stuff like Sweet Apple Massacre or Trixie's Funhouse, oh no. I don't really enjoy that kind of grimdark. I prefer things like Popped and Cheerilee's Garden and Pages Of Harmony and even Cupcakes (although it's more the huge fanon and tons of sequels that surround it rather then the fic itself). Basically, grimdark that is gory, but still has a "plot" to it, even if that plot is just fan speculation and theories. I like depth to my gore, damn it!
Anyway, I hope this doesn't put you off getting to know me. I'm actually a very pleasant, kind, and at times even shy individual who loves animals, gentle and pretty colors, and soft materials, as well as cartoons, and all of my friends on Tumblr will tell you the same thing! There's a reason Fluttershy is my favorite pony (Rainbow is my second favorite, but that's because I admire how brave and strong she is). I too am obsessed with Mother Nature and all her beautiful creatures, from whales and bears to rabbits, cats, and even worms! I myself have two cats, a beautiful tabby named Hazel and a black and white kitten called Zen.
I hope that you aren't nervous about getting to know me, I'm a very humble individual. I hope that you've learned something about me.
