Know Your Mare the Movie: sign ups? · 3:03am Apr 24th, 2016
Next month shall mark the beginning of Know Your Mare the Movie. The "movie" documents the final days of the show and the very last episode of KYM. However, the episode was lost long ago in a mix up chaos, stupidity, and riceicles. Thus it falls to our heroes(?) to find the long lost episode.
Along the way they will meet any and every obstacle you could possibly think of. In fact, that's the point. The Movie is where everyone will be allowed to have a hand in the adventure. To coming up with challenges for them, memories for them to look back on, or even people offering up characters or just a final gift to the end of the era. This shall indeed be the final chapter of the entire madness that was KYM.
And I want everyone to play a role in it. No matter who you are or what you can offer, you will be featured in this final send off if you want.
If you want to join in, leave a comment below saying so and perhaps your thoughts on KYM. Also, PM me and tell me what you want to offer up and we can talk it out. That's all I ask.
As for the old project of the wedding, we will also be finishing that off starting next month. Sadly, I lost all of my previous entries of people coming to the wedding, so if you want to be a part of that too, just do the same thing as you would the movie. Sorry for the inconvenience of that.

Well how about a gathering of OCs and Canon ponies and the EQG cast.( Shadowbolts, Wondercolts, whole package). Then they will have to face each other off in the ultimate Know Your Mare Showdown hurling insults a teach other, while the cast remnisces abou the time they used an insult on of the ponies used. And maybe Starlight Glimmer, Sunset Shimmer, Moon Dancer and Trixie getting into an argument about who is Twilight's true counter part? Maybe add in Sci-Twi?

They find a box filled with reels of the old episodes, the one labeled 'finale' gets pulled out to watch as they start it, discord and chryssi turn red and force the kids out, after all- kids don't need to see that 'finale'

I have not been very vocal but I have been following KYM since near the beginning when I saw the animations, read a bit and then later got hooked. I would love to be an active part of its ending since I was not part of its beginning or most of its duration.
I do wish to be part of the movie, but I feel kind of bad for not thinking of any way to contribute to the movie's plot at this time. I at least have my old intro for the wedding, so I can PM you that. If it helps any, my OC's sum-up is that he looks feminine, is a major Luna fanboy, gets mistaken for a mare quite often, and he can summon tacos and alter the flavors of food to make them everything from incredibly bland to spicy beyond words, but enough about me.
I stumbled upon KYM by total accident, only fell behind for a short while, and have been entertained ever since. I appreciate all of the time, energy, and effort you have put into this story and I cannot wait for whatever you create next. Do keep up the good work.

As for what KYM means to me ...
It was one of the first stories that I remember coming across after I left fanfiction (dot) net and switched over to fimfiction. After reading the first chapter, I couldn't stop reading, not until I caught up with the rest of the story. I think it just might be the longest running story on the site, and, if this really is the end, I'm gonna miss signing in and seeing more nonsense from the cast of the show.
