Words define people, places, and things
that can hurt peoples little wings
up at the sky we try to get
but words, like the heat, melt our resolve
Words limit reality- put boxes around things we don't understand
Like how a person you see on the street has a inner life that you can't comprehend
Dreams that are boundless and gleaming in beauty
But words can limit that nice reality
Words are like poisonous vipers and snakes
It gets in your head and causes heartaches
Cause people you know can say some mean things
But no, its not them, its the society
Words destroy friendships everyday
Things that disparage one raison d'etre
And things that cause nightmares to people exist
Because words are the thing that you can't resist
You can't resist them because their always there
Back of your head and back it does stare
Hitting around in continual delusion
Everyone hates you because of seclusion
People think words are super hilarious
Jokes that define others, are completely nefarious
Who's laughing now?
Fuck you words limit who and what I am.
Words can build us up.... Words can tear us down.
Start a fire in our hearts, or put it out.
