"So, Casca, why do you publish things so slowly?" · 9:59am Apr 21st, 2016

"I mean, seriously, just over a week to end a cliffhanger on?"

Well, dear reader, I'm glad you asked. Right now I'm in a bit of a busy state. Most of my writing time has been put towards finishing a Minecraft fanfic that's longer than anything I've done in that vein. The guy's already given me a few extensions, because it's likely that he won't find an author who'll give him this level of quality for this price outside of myself...

I've also been playing Wakfu. It's an MMORPG that may be worth its own post in the future. Suffice to say that I didn't expect to be as into it now when I first picked it up. The barrier to entry was a little high, but eeh.

I've also been playing Kingdom of Loathing, a text-and-scribbles based RPG. Completely free to play, excellent humour throughout, and a surprisingly hardcore experience for those who yearn for pain in their gaming. It's honestly a gem, and I highly recommend it.

But, just half and hour ago, I found myself with enough time to bang out the closer for The Court of Public Opinion. Now that the arc's finished, we can move on to lighter pieces that don't take as long to get right. Woohoo!

Sabbatical can be found here, and The Court of Public Opinion is a short 7.5k arc of an expected several. Thanks for fav'ing, reading and commenting, and I'll catch you the next time I have something worth sharing.

Man, I have very fond memories of playing KoL back in the day. Awesome game.

It is isn't it? So kooky too. I thought I was starting to get over it when the adventures were gating me too much... but once I hit the Macguffin quest (the one with the staff of Ed) the game just opened up for me even more.
