One great thing about the last episode was that it inspired me to finish my Spike story.
Admittedly when I saw the description, I was a little worried that it was going to seriously mess up the headcanon I had written so far. Not that it wouldn't have been a big deal, but still it's annoying when canon dovetails with an ongoing story. (Of course this is what I get for not finishing this).
So I was quite happy when I found the episode actually fits with what I've written rather nicely. Dragons are kinda selfish and ponies don't know a lot about them. This takes place before season 6, so Ember or Torch won't be making an appearance however.
After re-reading what I've written I've realized this story doesn't need to be much longer, and I'll feel a lot better crossing it off my unfinished list. Look for a new chapter later this week.
