What Really Matters · 6:12am Apr 18th, 2016
For me, what really matters is not how many people like the stories under the user "TimesX" but rather how many people love it.
The ultimate goal of my fics is not to gain popularity or for it to be booming with views and upvotes, but rather for it to be cherished and loved by whoever ends up reading it. A single person that reads my fic and comes to genuinely like it would actually make me alot more happier than it gaining five upvotes given by people who simply skimmed it and liked the premise.
Simply put, I treasure more the quality of emotion that a single reader gets from my fic than a group of near-indifferent remarks from others who "liked" my stories.
Of course, I appreciate any kind of feedback, but what I'm really after in my fics is for it to be enjoyed greatly by one reader.
